Bishop’s Stortford estate agent Mullucks raises £3,000 for rape and sexual abuse charity Red Kite
A Bishop’s Stortford estate agent has given a charity which provides support to victims of rape and sexual abuse a £3,000 boost.
Mullucks, whose office is at The Guild House in Water Lane, raised the four-figure sum for Red Kite at its annual charity lunch, organised by managing director Daniel Galati.
The business has sponsored the Charity Champion category at the Indies since this newspaper’s community awards were first held in 2018 and they forged a relationship with Red Kite after trustee Siobhan Nundram won the prize in 2023.
As well as receiving the cash donation, the charity has also made use of Mullucks’ meeting room at its premises.
Nundram said: “On behalf of everyone at Red Kite, I thank you sincerely and everyone who contributed.
“This will practically cover the cost of a Thrive Group that will transform the lives of 10 people directly and many more indirectly.”
