The date for Bishop's Stortford Means Business 2022 has been set – and more than half of the stands have already been snapped up.

The annual exhibition, which has been held since 2001, will take place at South Mill Arts on Wednesday October 19.

There are 60 stands available and more than 30 have been booked by both returning and new exhibitors.

Businesses who have signed up for the first time include investment services group Ravenscroft, which has an office at Tees House in London Road, winter maintenance specialists Gritting Works and home care provider Helping Hands.

"We are really pleased to announce the date for Bishop's Stortford Means Business 2022," said organiser Bob Lee, of Kenburgh Court-based Marketing Kinetics.

"The event is intended for local businesses and organisations to showcase their products and services to companies and residents in the area, and so support the local economy."

The popular seminar programme will be announced in due course while The Bagel Box will return to provide refreshments.

Hatfield Broad Oak's Associated Beverages has been an ever present at the expo. Owner Vivien Vaerliss said: "We have taken part in every BSMB since it started back in 2001 and it's a great way to meet many of our customers and to introduce ourselves to new people. We would not miss it."

BSMB, which will run from 10am to 4pm and is free for visitors to attend, is once again being headline sponsored by Stansted Airport.

"We are really pleased to once again be the headline sponsor of Bishop's Stortford Means Business as a key aspect of London Stansted's community engagement programme is supporting local businesses and promoting their growth within the community," said the airport's community engagement manager Daniel Burford.

"After a challenging couple of years, this event provides local companies with a very welcome opportunity to meet face-to-face once again and showcase what they have to offer."

The remaining stands, priced at £350 plus VAT, can be booked by visiting www.bsmb.co.uk or emailing exhibition@bsmb.co.uk.
