Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce is preparing to support even more businesses from its new home.

The chamber, which was recently named the fastest growing in the country by the British Chambers of Commerce, has moved into larger premises at York House, a landmark building at the heart of the regeneration of Old Hatfield.

The chamber is also recruiting for a new business executive, marketing and communications executive and administration assistant due to an increase in membership.

"Our new, larger premises reflect the ambition of the chamber and the role it has to play in the future of business in the county," said chief executive Briege Leahy.

"As businesses look to the future and start to recover from the impact of the pandemic, we are in a position to offer more companies vital support to underpin the county's growth."

The chamber's new home in Salisbury Square – an area which is set to become a hub for retail and business – features a better layout for teams to work alongside each other. These include key staff in business development, HR, event and communications, finance and international trade.
