The aim of the event is to celebrate those who helped the community get through the coronavirus crisis as well as raise money for local charities and good causes. It is a not-for-profit event relying on the generosity of sponsors and individual donations.

"Stortford Heroes: Party in the Park is a very special event in the Bishop's Stortford calendar, so naturally we jumped at the opportunity to become headline sponsor," said Intercounty's managing director Adam Latimer.

"As a local business, we're incredibly proud to live and work in this amazing town. Sponsoring an event like this allows us to give back to the people of Bishop's Stortford and support the great work of our local charities."

Financial advisors Enable Independent has also signed up as a sponsor.

"As a local business, we're dedicated to giving back to our local community," said the North Street-based firm's managing director Mike Cooke. "This includes providing employment opportunities and work experience, raising funds for charity and encouraging the town's economic growth.

"We're delighted to be involved in Party in the Park and we're counting down the days to the big event. It's a fantastic way to enjoy great music while giving back at the same time."
