Bishop’s Stortford resident Vanesa Elliott wins two prizes at Cambridge Regional College Apprenticeship Awards
A Bishop’s Stortford resident who wants to become an IT engineer won two prizes at Cambridge Regional College’s annual Apprenticeship Awards.
Vanesa Elliott was named IT & Computing Apprentice of the Year before also landing the overall Apprentice of the Year crown.
She was recognised for her work at Saffron Walden-based IT support service company Force36.
“I was not working in IT before starting my apprenticeship at CRC. Studying the Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship has allowed me to build up a wide range of IT skills, which has enabled me to be confident when working with clients,” said Elliott.
“Doing my apprenticeship has allowed me to apply the theory I’ve learnt in college to my daily work.”
