Tracey Dickens and Victoria Sandberg appointed senior partners at Tees Law

A Bishop’s Stortford legal firm has appointed two new partners as part of its ambitious growth strategy.

Tracey Dickens and Victoria Sandberg have joined Tees Law, whose head office is in London Road, to further boost its expertise.

Dickens will work in the corporate and commercial team while Sandberg is joining the commercial property team.

A successful career with Birkett Long has given Dickens a wealth of experience working with a wide range of business clients.

Her specialism is advising the health sector and, in particular, care home transactions and medical partnerships, having acted for doctors and other healthcare professionals in relation to partnership and business matters for over 22 years.

“I am delighted to be joining Tees Law’s impressive corporate and commercial team and I am very much looking forward to helping drive forward their ambitious growth plans and becoming a trusted advisor to their business clients,” she said.

Sandberg acts for a wide range of clients, including businesses, farmers, investors, owner-occupiers and high net-worth individuals spread predominantly across Hertfordshire and the neighbouring counties.

She has a particular specialism in rural land and will play a pivotal role in Tees’ agriculture, rural and estates practice.

“I am thrilled to be joining Tees,” she said. “It is such an exciting time to be joining.”

The firm now has 28 partners and managing director Ashton Hunt is delighted the pair have decided to further their careers by taking on the new roles.

“They were both attracted to Tees because of our reputation and track record of delivering on our strategic goals and are both well-placed to help us drive forward our ambitious growth strategy for 2028,” he said.

“[They] will add additional weight to our growing corporate and commercial and commercial property expertise.”

Meanwhile, Tees has seen six practice areas ranked as Tier 1 in this year’s Legal 500 directory.

In total it has 21 practice areas ranked in the guide along with seven leading partners, five next generation partners and eight leading associates while senior partner Catherine Mowat has again been recognised in the hall of fame.

“Everyone at Tees always works hard to provide the best quality service and I’m truly delighted to see the results,” added Hunt.
