Jo French, who owns property search company X-Press Legal Services Essex, Herts and Cambs, used her first in-person session since the start of the pandemic to support Farleigh Hospice.
The hospice, in Chelmsford, looked after a close friend of hers, and the event, which was attended by more than 30 solicitors and professionals in the conveyancing sector, raised £400.
Attendees learned about updates to conveyancing law from speaker Richard Snape as well as enjoying a session delivered by Sian Harvey Stress Management.
"It's great to be able to support a local hospice which is so close to my heart," said Jo. "Thanks to all that came for helping to raise funds for the Farleigh Hospice."
