A Stansted-based waste management and recycling sector company has been recognised as one of Europe's fastest growing businesses.

Wastepack, which is based at Waterloo House at the M11 Business Link in Parsonage Lane, is in this year's FT 1000 report, which is published annually by the Financial Times and Statista and ranks firms that have achieved the highest percentage growth over a specified period.

For the sixth edition of the report, growth was analysed between 2017 and 2020, with Wastepack ranked 566. It is one of 155 UK businesses to make the grade as well as being one of only 12 waste management and recycling sector companies to be included and the only UK company to represent the sector.
