The vibrant KOKO Brasserie held its official grand opening last Wednesday (September 20) when town mayor Cllr Richard Townsend welcomed its first guests.

The new venue, at 30 South Street, serves a fusion of traditional brunch fare with Mediterranean flavours and style.

KOKO’s has a high-end feel and uses the highest-quality ingredients, but it is a family-run business with affordable prices.

The menu includes a full range of savoury and sweet breakfast and brunch dishes, with everyone’s tastes catered for.

You can enjoy a full English breakfast with eggs, Cumberland sausage, bacon, hash browns, portobello mushroom, grilled cherry tomatoes and beans, or put a twist on things with The Turkish, The American, The Veggie, The Vegan or The Healthy.

Try dishes such as eggs benedict, eggs royale and chicken waffle, or opt for an omelette with up two fillings of your choice.

There are also a host of wraps and salads to choose from as well as toast dishes such as Falafel Crush and Smoking Salmon.

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, KOKO’s team of chefs can serve you a number of mouthwatering treats such as French toast, waffles and pancakes.

The drinks menu is just as exciting and features everything from teas and coffees to cocktails, smoothies and milkshakes.

KOKO Brasserie is open every day from 9am to 5pm. It is also possible to book the venue for private functions after hours.
