Bishop’s Stortford Camera Club exhibition in Jackson Square shopping centre
An exhibition of photographs by members of Bishop’s Stortford Camera Club is on display in Jackson Square.
The images, on the theme of ‘Local’, have been mounted on the community wall opposite Starbucks.
Pictures by Diane Le Count, Alan Godfrey, Carol Green, Sophia Spurgin and club chairman Matthew Bickham were selected by the shopping centre’s management team that included manager Michael Smith, Hayley Harris and Alice Watkinson.
The exhibition was opened by Steven Croft, from Bridge Street camera shop Photosound.
The camera club has been active in the town for 70 years and meets every Tuesday night, from September to April, at The Hub in Apton Road.
In summer, the club hosts weekly practical events to help members and anyone else interested in photography to gain new skills whilst having fun. All are welcome.
