Former Miss England Kirsty Heslewood and mum Kerry running salon Rose Aesthetics near Bishop's Stortford with website support from 2019 Mr World Jack Heslewood
A mother and daughter who know all about looking and feeling good are proud to be offering innovative and affordable alternatives to cosmetic surgery.
Kerry and Kirsty Heslewood, who have been in and around the modelling and performing business for many years, launched Rose Aesthetics in January 2020, just a couple of months before the first coronavirus lockdown.
Based at their salon in Little Hallingbury, they use the very latest techniques and pharmaceuticals to give their clients – both men and women aged over 18 – great results with industry-leading non-surgical treatments.
Kirsty was named Miss England in 2013 and went on to make the top 10 of that year's Miss World competition, and her brother Jack was crowned Mr World in 2019. He helps with the company's website development.
She is still enjoying a hugely successful modelling career, but her love of science and beauty led to her and mum Kerry training to become aesthetic practitioners and becoming business partners.
They trained on a Government-backed course, equivalent to degree Level, which is recognised by Qualifi and regulated by Ofqual. Prior to that course they were Level 4-trained beauticians with A level biology and anatomy, and they are proud members of the Association of Aesthetics, Injectables and Cosmetics.
"Every person is unique and, without a doubt, your treatment needs will be unique too," said Kerry, whose husband John runs Bishop's Stortford-based Vision Balconies.
"That is why we start every journey with a consultation, to assess your needs and advise you on the most suitable treatment options. We can also create bespoke treatments and packages to suit your direct needs.
"We realise there is a growing want for treatments and a definite need for natural-looking enhancements. We have been fortunate enough to gain advanced training and love seeing the confidence gained by our clients from our work."
Rose Aesthetics provides its high-quality treatments using BOTOX and dermal fillers. BOTOX is carefully injected into the superficial layers of the skin, targeting specific muscles which temporarily restricts their movement. This allows the overlaying skin to slow the ageing process which reduces the signs of wrinkles, resulting in a smooth, young, wrinkle-free appearance.
"We encourage natural-looking treatments as I feel too many young women are getting 'fake looking' and dangerous enhancements," said Kirsty. "I feel you can do this a lot more safely and naturally by going to the right practitioner.
"I want to be someone young girls can trust and be given correct and quality procedures."
