To celebrate her boutique's 20th anniversary, Victoria Lee, owner of Friends Dress Agency in North Street, staged a fashion show to exhibit some of the preloved clothes she sells.

Around 100 women packed into the neighbouring The Horn at the Half Moon Inn, where they enjoyed drinks and nibbles as seven models showcased 21 outfits in the pub’s Long Room.

Victoria, 33, started working at Friends Dress Agency nine years ago as a Saturday girl. She bought the business the following year and has been the sole full-time member of staff ever since, doling out fashion advice to loyal, regular customers and one-off shoppers alike.

While the fashion show was going on, the boutique stayed open until 9pm so that anyone who had spotted an item they could not live without was able to pop into the shop and snap it up.

The event raised £250 for Isabel Hospice, which covers the East Herts, Broxbourne and Welwyn Hatfield districts.
