Tees Law waiving will-writing fees in February in exchange for donation to Better Future Fund
A Bishop’s Stortford legal firm is waiving fees for its will-writing services throughout February in a scheme it hopes will benefit the community.
Tees Law, whose headquarters are in London Road, has launched its Make a Will Month campaign to help participants secure their legacy.
The only request from the business is that those taking up the opportunity donate to its Better Future Fund, which was set up to provide funding to local community projects and organisations.
The fund offers grants of up to £5,000 for projects that have a focus on learning and education and/or health and wellbeing, including supporting mental health for young people, children and families.
Wills falling within the Tees ‘essential’ package will qualify, with additional advice outside that package being charged for separately. This offer provides participants with professional guidance to craft a will tailored to their unique circumstances.
“A well-crafted will is not just a legal document; it is a vital tool that provides clarity, security and peace of mind,” said senior associate (private client) Chris Claxton-Shirley.
“By offering this service during Make a Will Month, we hope to help people safeguard their loved ones and ensure their legacy is preserved whilst at the same time helping to support our local communities.”
