15-year-old girl on bicycle dies in hospital after collision with van in Felsted




A 15-year-old girl has died after the bicycle she was riding was involved in a collision with a Ford Transit van.

Police were called to the junction of Station Road and Charles Moore Place at Flitch Green, near Felsted, at 4.50pm on Tuesday April 22.

The teenage cyclist was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge but died three days later.

Essex Police enquiries are ongoing and the girl’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
