Spring Open Day at Birchanger Wood on Easter Saturday, April 19

Easter fun for the whole family is on offer at Birchanger Wood’s Spring Open Day this Saturday (April 19).

The free-entry event, which runs from 10am to 3pm, includes a host of activities and demonstrations.

There will be kids’ activities and crafts, a name-the-tractor competition and the chance to watch wood-turning.

You can also talk to the warden and volunteers about how they look after the habitat.

All activities are free, but donations are welcomed and every penny raised will go towards caring for the woodland.
