“We’ve seen some stunning individual performances, with a whole host of students now heading off to the most prestigious universities, having achieved the very top grades.
“Huge credit goes to those students who have gained places at Oxford and Cambridge universities and to all those now on courses to study medicine or veterinary science, though I would like to congratulate the whole year group on their superb outcomes.
“So many worked extremely hard and thoroughly deserve to be in the luxurious position of having lots of options and a very promising future.
“I also need to thank the staff for working so hard to provide the excellent teaching and support that has paved the way for this success.
“We can be confident that this group of students leaves us with exactly the skills and qualities, as well as the academic results, that will serve them very well as they head off to university, apprenticeships or employment.”
Rob Stark, head of sixth form, added: “It’s wonderful to see the results that our students have achieved.
“This is a talented year group whose members have upheld the school’s traditions of excellence in their extra-curricular endeavours as well as in their studies.
“Congratulations to all our students and we wish them every success for the future”.
