Celebrate the first signs of spring with a walk in Pishiobury Park, Sawbridgeworth

Nature lovers are invited to celebrate the first signs of spring on Wednesday (April 19) with a walk around Pishiobury Park.

Those interested are asked to message the Friends of Pishiobury Park via Facebook. The walk starts in the main car park off Pishiobury Drive, Sawbridgeworth, at 10am, but if you can't make it another walk is being held on Saturday (April 22), starting at the same time.

A Friends Working Party is being held in the park on Thursday April 20 with the aim of completing the coppicing project. Meet in the main car park at 10am.

Friends chairman Bob Reed said: "Not all our tasks are physical and are determined by what is listed in the Green infrastructure Action Plan and sometimes they may include carrying out various surveys."
