TUBS: Bishop’s Stortford MP Josh Dean and mayor Richard Townsend join volunteers for 84th litter-pick

MP Josh Dean and mayor Cllr Richard Townsend joined litter-pickers as Tidy Up Bishop’s Stortford (TUBS) volunteers spruced up Thorley Park.

Their refuse collection session was the 84th organised by the charity, which is funded by East Herts Lottery.

Spokesman Ian Hudson said 34 volunteers set to work on sunny Saturday (March 8), collecting over 40 bags. A small detachment also cleared an area off Cricketfield Lane.
