Bishop’s Stortford resident offers reward for return of stolen garden ornament




The owner of a heavy garden ornament, stolen from Bishop’s Stortford, is ready to offer a reward for its return.

The metal plinth and urn, used as a planter, was pinched from a house in Hadham Road between 4pm on Friday and 8am on Saturday (Sept 13-14).

The householder told the Indie the silver-coloured ornament is around 1.2m (4ft) high and would have required at least two people to move it.

He said it was worth hundreds of pounds and was willing to offer a reward for information leading to its return.
