Sawbridgeworth burglary reports up as nights draw in

Police have seen a rise in burglary reports now that the nights are drawing in.
A house in Cambridge Road, Sawbridgeworth was broken into last Tuesday between 2.45pm and 9pm.
The intruder forced their way in through the back door and ransacked the property.
The same day, a short distance away in Hoestock Road, off London Road, another property was targeted.
At 8.40pm, a person smashed a hole in the patio door but fled when the alarm sounded.
