Make a splash at Grange Paddocks for two good causes

The World’s Biggest Charity Swim is coming to Bishop’s Stortford this weekend.

Swimmers are encouraged to take the plunge at Grange Paddocks leisure centre to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie.

Participants have the option of swimming 400m, 1.5k, 2.5k or 5k as an individual or 1.5k or 5k as part of a team.

Grange Paddocks is one of five leisure centres in East Herts hosting the mass swimming event on Saturday and Sunday. The others are Leventhorpe in Sawbridgeworth, Ward Freman Pool in Buntingford, Fanshawe Pool and Gym in Ware and Hartham Leisure Centre in Hertford.

The event has been running for more than 30 years, during which time more than half a million people have taken part and raised more than £50m for various UK charities.
