Car hits business building in crash at Hockerill crossroads




A car hit a building in a crash at the Hockerill crossroads in Bishop’s Stortford on Thursday night (November 21).

Police were called at around 8.30pm following the collision on London Road near the traffic lights.

It was reported that a blue Ford Fiesta had struck the vacant premises on the corner.

“No significant damage was caused and the road was not blocked,” said a spokeswoman for Hertfordshire police.

“No one was reported as injured, and the vehicle was removed without requiring police assistance.

“Herts Highways were contacted regarding debris that had been left at the scene.”

Police received several calls about the incident, with one caller saying two cars had been involved and another saying three.
