Carers in Hertfordshire charity selling fundraising Christmas cards designed by carers themselves

Carers in Hertfordshire is embarking on a new fundraising venture: producing and selling its own Christmas cards.

Five designs – featuring a Christmas tree, robin, snow-covered berries, poinsettia and snowman decoration – have been created by just some of the county's army of unpaid carers.

Cards are being sold in packs of 10. Each pack costs £4, plus postage.

Profits will go to the Hertford-based charity, which has just marked its 25th anniversary. It provides free services to ensure Hertfordshire children and adults who provide care to someone who is elderly, disabled or ill – along with recently bereaved carers – are supported.

The cards can be bought online via www.carersinherts.org.uk/help-us-help-carers/fundraising/christmas-cards-2020.
