Sawbridgeworth Memorial Hall invites charities to set up self-help groups

Charities are being sought by the trustees of a Sawbridgeworth hall to run self-help groups when a major refurbishment is completed.

Sawbridgeworth Memorial Hall is undergoing an upgrade to turn it into a “community hub” and is keen to make links with charities and SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) groups.

Trustees chair Peter Lee told the Indie: “I am talking to Citizens Advice East Herts. We can afford to let the room free of charge or for a contribution to heating in winter months.”
