Central Co-op brings golden ticket giveaway to Sawbridgeworth with six bottles of champagne for first customer

A shopper could be popping champagne on Saturday morning (March 22) if they are lucky enough to be first in the queue at a Sawbridgeworth supermarket.

Central Co-op is bringing its Golden Ticket giveaway to the town in celebration of the UN International Year of Co-operatives.

The first 50 customers in a queue outside the store in London Road at 10am will receive a golden ticket and a prize.

One lucky winner will take home six bottles of Co-op’s award-winning Les Pionniers champagne while others will receive Co-op Irresistible Dark Peruvian Chocolate and fruit toy plushies.

In Central Co-op’s mission to put a “spring in our step”, shoppers can also enjoy free tastings of speciality hot cross buns, including blueberry and lemon, apple crumble, and chocolate and salted caramel.
