Bishop's Stortford firefighters were joined by members of the public in their week-long campaign of 5k runs or walks in aid of baby loss charity SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society).
Crew members set off on their runs around Stortford from 9am every morning for five days to raise awareness of the charity and to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week.
They ended the week with a run starting at 6pm on Friday, joined by a happy band of family members, friends, residents and several dogs, all followed by a fire engine.
Watch commander Dean Hunt, who came up with the idea for the week of action, thanked those who joined them.
He said: "Everyone managed to complete their run/walk – even with an emergency call diverting us for a bit!"
