Sweet Shake Spot Ltd submits premises licence application for rebranded Stortford Convenience Store




A Bishop’s Stortford shop has asked East Herts Council for permission to sell alcohol.

Sweet Shake Spot Ltd has made the application for premises in Newtown Road.

The shop previously sold American sweets, speciality products, milkshakes and vaping items but is now branded as Stortford Convenience Store.

The shop wants to sell alcohol from 6am to 11pm every day of the week. The district council has been asked to approve a premises licence.

The closing date for comments about the plan is Monday, January 6.
