Hertfordshire needs to recruit 4,000 new adult care workers each year to keep up with increasing demand.

In all 31,000 already work in the profession and this month the county council is working with Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA) on the Good Care campaign to encourage more people to consider it as a job.

Throughout July, lots of Hertfordshire care providers, including care homes and home care agencies, will be hosting events.
