Two-vehicle crash in Spellbrook closes southbound A1184 between Bishop's Stortford and Sawbridgeworth

Rush-hour traffic was stopped from heading south from Bishop's Stortford to Sawbridgeworth on Wednesday morning (September 16) following a crash.

Police were called to the A1184 at Spellbrook to reports of a road traffic collision. Officers were told two vehicles had collided near the Hilton Suzuki garage.

Both vehicles were recovered and the road was clear by 8.30am. No one required any hospital treatment.

The southbound A1184 was closed at the Thorley Wash roundabout at the end of the St James Way bypass. Northbound traffic was not affected.
