Sawbridgeworth's Youth CREATE stage a killer of an event at Italian restaurant
Young actors pulled off an Italian job when they performed a murder mystery to a restaurant full of diners in Sawbridgeworth.
Youth CREATE took over the Villa Italia in Bell Street for the interactive event which involved actors aged 11 to 25 and 80 guests who were treated to a two-course meal.
“Everyone who came along to see the performance and interact with it, investigating the evidence and conferring with other tables/teams, said what a fabulous evening’s entertainment it was,” said Youth CREATE chair Andrea Stamadiades.
“All very positive feedback for us, and our members were so excited to put on this sort of unusual event.”
The group meets at Sawbridgeworth Memorial Hall on Tuesdays, from 6pm to 9pm, for older members and on Saturdays for three different younger age groups.
Andrea thanked the restaurant for giving them the venue for free and the tutors involved: Liz Evans, Abbie Middleton-Evans, Kelly Middleton-Evans, Connor Linden, Natalie Mills and support worker Josie Thomson.
