New dance project for Bishop's Stortford explores loneliness among residents over 65
A dance project exploring isolation, belonging and resilience needs Bishop’s Stortford and Sawbridgeworth residents over 65 who have experienced loneliness to answer a questionnaire.
Hannah Pickett Dance is collaborating with Hertfordshire County Council’s library service on the performance, which will take place at Bishop’s Stortford library in The Causeway on Sunday October 10 and at Hertford library on the Wednesday before (October 6).
Hannah Pickett is a contemporary dance artist, teacher and choreographer who grew up in Hertford and is now based in Milton Keynes. She graduated with a first-class BA (Hons) dance degree from the University of Roehampton. Her choreographic work covers professional groups, site-specific work, youth dance and music and dance improvisational performance and has been performed in London, Brighton and Amsterdam.
