Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Michael Kors designer glasses stolen from Boots Opticians in Bishop's Stortford

Designer glasses were stolen by a burglar who smashed their way into a Bishop's Stortford opticians under the cover of darkness.

Boots Opticians in South Street was raided at around 4.15am on Tuesday (Dec 15). The intruder got in by shattering the glass front door.

Frames designed by Stella McCartney, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Michael Kors were stolen. It is not yet known how many sets of these valuable spectacles were taken.

The damage to the door was clearly visible and shards of broken glass littered Boots' frontage.
