St Michael’s Church choir welcomes children and adults to its open evening on Friday September 6




Singers aged from seven to 107 in Bishop’s Stortford are welcome to attend St Michael’s Church choir’s open evening on Friday September 6.

Children are invited to attend from 6pm to 8pm, starting with pizza and games in the Windhill Churches Centre, followed by rehearsal in church.

Adult singers are welcome in the church from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

The church’s director of music, Nathan Collins, said: “We aim to make participation in the choir fun, friendly and musically enriching.

“Vocal training and choir pay is included for under-16s and we also invite applications for choral and organ scholarships from those of sixth-form age.

“Singing in a choir is an immensely satisfying and enjoyable team activity which is illustrated by our commitment to maintaining a full four-part choir.”
