Police release image of man after phone robbery in Bishop’s Stortford
Detectives have released images of a man they want to question after a robbery in Bishop’s Stortford.
Hertfordshire Constabulary is investigating reports that the male victim was assaulted near a bus stop opposite Pryor’s Close on Wednesday June 26 at around 1.05pm.
His mobile phone was taken during the incident off the A1060 Hallingbury Road, not far from the rear entrance to the town’s railway station, but was later recovered.
Detective Constable Chris Golding, from the East Herts Local Crime Unit, said: “We have recently managed to source these images as part of our ongoing investigation.
“We would like to identify and speak with the male pictured as it is believed he may have information to assist enquiries. If this is you or you recognise him, please get in touch.”
