Eat out in support of local businesses, urges MP

Uttlesford Conservative MP Kemi Badenoch is urging her Saffron Walden constituents to make the most of the Government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

She said: "It is a great way to boost local businesses and protect jobs across our hospitality sector, which has been hard hit by coronavirus, whilst allowing families to keep more money in their pockets.

“Following conversations with local businesses, I know they are closely following the Government’s guidance and have put the necessary measures in place such as distancing tables and digital or single use menus to ensure a safe environment for customers.

“I encourage my constituents to enjoy summer safely by going out and supporting their local restaurants, cafes and pubs.”
