M11 crash: Traffic backed up towards Bishop's Stortford after HGV collision between Harlow and M25




A collision between two HGVs on the southbound carriageway of the M11 between Harlow and the M25 on Friday afternoon (June 4) caused traffic to back up towards the Bishop's Stortford junction.

No one was injured in the collision, which happened between junctions 7 and 6 at 12.49pm. The scene was cleared by 4pm.

Highways England warned of delays of up to 90 minutes, with traffic backing up more than eight miles towards junction 8 (Bishop's Stortford / Stansted Airport / A120). Police traffic officers attended and recovery vehicles were on the way at 3pm.
