Free bike repair station set up in Co-op car park in Sawbridgeworth to help cyclists, buggy and wheelchair users

Cyclists feeling a little flat as they travel in Sawbridgeworth have a free stop to make sure they can get reinflated.

A free bike repair station has been provided on a wall in the Co-op car park in London Road.

A photo of the station was posted on a Bishop’s Stortford Facebook group, alerting residents to the service, which can help with emergency repairs to bicycles, buggies or wheelchairs.

The poster reported that it had “all the tools you need and a pump”, praising it as a good idea.

But one contributor was keen to warn cyclists to ensure they don’t rely on such stations and to have their machines regularly serviced.
