Tesco baker boosts Little Hadham harvest celebrations

The congregation at St Cecilia’s Church in Little Hadham celebrated their harvest service on Sunday (October 10) with a traditional bread sheaf.

The representation of a bundle of wheat, a basket also made from dough and a selection of loaves were created for the act of worship by Tesco baker Nick Carrizzo and his team.

Nick, who works at the supermarket’s Bishop’s Park store, has been baking sheaves for St Cecilia's for several years; he made this year's presentation in memory of late churchwarden Tony Skidmore, who died from Covid-19 last December.
