The ambulance service took the victim to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, but it is understood that she did not survive.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We supported our colleagues at Manchester Airports Group and the ambulance service at Stansted Airport after being called for a concern for welfare."

The Indie has contacted Air Albania for further details but has not received a response.
