Find out how you can help Holy Trinity Night Shelter and Community Outreach change lives

Holy Trinity Night Shelter and Community Outreach is appealing for volunteers with a series of sessions in Jackson Square’s community space.

The South Street charity offers accommodation to the homeless during the winter and year-round advice and support.

It works with The Exchange at Bishop's Stortford Baptist Church, Bishop’s Stortford Food Bank, Citizens Advice East Herts, East Herts Council, the NHS and other organisations to help service users restart their lives.

Manager David Perry said: “The main objective of the sessions is to make people aware of what we do, not just through the winter, but all year round and to hopefully recruit some new volunteers.”

To find out more, visit Jackson Square’s community space from 10am to 4pm on Thursday, July 24, Tuesday, July 29 and Thursday, August 7.

The first session took place on Tuesday, July 15, and the charity is hosting a coffee morning this Saturday (July 19) from 10am to noon at Bishop's Stortford Methodist Church, South Street.
