Three Horseshoes pub in Spellbrook reopens almost nine months after it was flooded in Storm Ciarán

A pub that closed when it suffered serious flooding during a fierce storm has reopened after almost nine months.

The Three Horseshoes in Spellbrook Lane East, Spellbrook, was inundated after Storm Ciarán hit the South East overnight on November 1 and 2.

A video on Facebook showed the pub’s interior under several inches of water. It was closed for refurbishment.

After a six-figure upgrade to the 16th-century building produced a new look inside and out, the pub opened its doors to the public on Monday (July 22).
