Bluebells, forget-me-nots and apple blossom captured by Shirley Hoy of Birchanger in Stortford Nature photo gallery
In the latest part of our series showcasing photographs taken by members of the Stortford Nature group on Facebook, Shirley Hoy, of Birchanger Lane, Birchanger, takes us around her garden...
Since the lockdown began, both my husband Philip and I have been isolating, especially as we are pretty sure we've both had it [coronavirus], so no chance of any nature walks for us.
I've been seeing lots of gorgeous images of bluebells in Birchanger Wood. I'm not particularly green fingered - if something survives in our garden that's great, if not then it wasn't meant to be!
So I don't really have flowers, but we do have tree blossom so I thought I'd go and see what I could find wandering around the garden. To my surprise, there was more life than I thought.
