LEARN MOREThe fate of a proposed new vehicle repair business on the former Millways site will now be decided by councillors after concerns were raised about traffic congestion and access problems.
David and Kate Hutley, who run Absolute Vehicle Services in Bishop's Stortford, want to expand their business to the village - and the parish council had backed their application.
But the couple said a decision had "frustratingly" been put back to mid-September after the scheme was called in.
Stansted Free Church is concerned about access difficulties and congestion to the Chapel Hill site.
