House developer builds on reputation with community bursary fund
Charities, schools, community projects and good causes across Hertfordshire are in the running for a share of £12,000 from CALA Homes’ 2019 Community Bursary.
Launched on Monday, the initiative, which is now in its third year, has handed out more than £200,000 to 200 good causes across the country.
Duncan Jackson, managing director at CALA Homes North Home Counties said: “Eight charities in Hertfordshire have previously benefited from the CALA Community Bursary scheme with donations made for projects ranging from supporting Jubilee House Care Trust with their outreach project to pay for community activities to paying for strength and conditioning equipment for Bishop’s Stortford Judokwai Club. The bursary provides an opportunity for charities and groups of all sizes to apply for funds, and we look forward to hearing more about how we can get involved.”
Apply for a share of the community bursary by downloading an application form from www.cala.co.uk/bursary. The closing deadline for entries is Friday, March 8.
