Have your say on Essex County Fire and Rescue Service priorities
Essex County Fire and Rescue Service (ECFRS) has launched a consultation on its key priorities.
Its draft Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) outlines its strategy for protecting lives, property and the environment.
Chief fire officer and chief executive Rick Hylton said: “The CRMP is about making Essex safer together.
“Whether it’s making sure our teams are equipped to respond to emergencies or helping prevent fires in the first place, your feedback is vital to creating a plan that truly reflects the needs of our communities.”
Essex Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Roger Hirst added: “This is your chance to have your say. We want to prevent more fires and save more lives as well as deliver an effective response if a fire does happen.
“We want to help our county fire and rescue service to manage risk across Essex and prevent harm in our communities, and we need to know your views on the plan to achieve these priorities.”
The consultation runs from Wednesday (January 8) until February 19 and follows preliminary consultation last year to identify priorities. The CRMP goals are:
