Have your say on services at Princess Alexandra, Herts & Essex and St Margaret’s hospitals in Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust patient panel is visiting Bishop’s Stortford in November.

The volunteers will be asking the community for views about the services and care provided at the town’s Herts and Essex Hospital as well as the general hospital in Harlow and at St Margaret’s Hospital, Epping.

They will be in Jackson Square on Thursday November 28, from 10am to 2pm.

Ann Nutt, chair of the patient panel, said: “We hope to engage with shoppers passing by, who represent a diverse cross-section of people, to understand what we are doing well, what matters most to our patients and how we can improve further.”

Sharon McNally, interim chief executive at PAHT, said: “The panel ran a similar exercise in July and we were pleased to receive a high volume of praise about the services we provide and valuable insights into areas for improvement that are helping us to shape our services further.

“The panel will also share new feedback from this exercise at a forward-planning meeting with key leads across the NHS and wider stakeholders.”

PAHT provides 414 general and acute beds, a 24/7 emergency department, neonatal and intensive care units and maternity services at Princess Alexandra. Outpatient and diagnostic services are delivered at the Herts and Essex and St Margaret’s hospitals.
