Holiday firm TUI recruits 20 new cabin crew and five pilots to fly from Stansted Airport




Holiday specialist TUI has recruited five pilots and 20 new cabin crew to fly from Stansted Airport this summer.

Its most popular destinations from the Uttlesford hub are Antalya and Dalaman in Turkey and the Greek island of Rhodes.

TUI’s head of cabin crew management, Ian Campbell, said: “This year we saw unprecedented interest, with thousands applying for the roles available and 10,000 applications flying in during the first week.”

The majority of their six weeks’ preparation for duty took place at TUI’s training centre at East Midlands Airport.

Simon Gorrighan, aviation director at Stansted Airport, said: “TUI is a long-standing and valued partner at the airport, and we look forward to them serving over 14 destinations this summer across Greece, Spain, Italy and North Africa.”
