Hunt for driver heading for Bishop's Stortford who failed to stop after motorbike passenger suffers serious injuries in Little Hallingbury collision




Police want to trace a car driver heading for Bishop's Stortford who failed to stop after a collision in the early hours with a motorcycle in which a pillion passenger suffered serious injuries.

The incident happened on the A1060 Lower Road in Little Hallingbury, near the village primary school, just before 12.20am on Saturday 7 August.

The motorcyclist was a man in his 20s. His female teenage pillion passenger suffered serious arm injuries in falling from the bike.

The car, believed to be dark-coloured and either a Ford Focus or Ford Fiesta, did not stop at the scene.

It is believed to have had several passengers, all in their late teens to mid-20s, and was being driving in the direction of Bishop’s Stortford.
