Our recent full Ofsted inspection identified Herts & Essex Sixth Form as ‘exceptional’, which is fully reflected in these outstanding outcomes.
“Every single grade achieved by every single student illustrates the dedication, energy and commitment of staff, students and families over the last two years, providing the incomparable standard of teaching and support available here and the vital encouragement from home. This combination really does pay off and means that Herts & Essex sixth formers leave school empowered to achieve their highest aspirations.”
Caroline Lewis, director of sixth form, added: “Our Year 13 cohort has been a fabulous year group. I’ve enjoyed working with them immensely and it’s been a privilege to watch them develop and thrive not just academically, but also as they grew in confidence, independence and maturity.
“I am so pleased for them today. Congratulations and thanks go both to the students and the staff for all their hard work, which is the basis of such achievements.
“This year’s Year 13 cohort has secured some fantastic destinations, including many of the best universities in the world. The range and diversity is impressive.
“Both in relation to grades and destinations, this year’s Year 13 has done even better than last year’s – wow!”
