Bishop's Stortford's litter-picking squad is carrying out its next assignment on Saturday (March 9).

Tidy Up Bishop’s Stortford (TUBS) is targeting a stretch of Dunmow Road in the town and is inviting anyone to join it at Bishop’s Stortford Football Club's ProKit UK Stadium in Woodside, off Dunmow Road, at 10am.

The volunteers’ co-ordinator, Ian Hudson, said: “I am pleased to be able to co-ordinate this group of local residents who are prepared to give a couple of hours every other month to make the town a cleaner place."
